Job Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess extensive clinical expertise, a passion for patient-centered care, and the ability to work collaboratively within a dynamic healthcare environment. This role offers an opportunity to deliver high-quality medical services across diverse patient populations, including adolescents, adults, and acute care settings.
Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough patient assessments, including physical examinations, vital sign monitoring, and medical history documentation.
- Diagnose and manage a wide range of acute and chronic medical conditions using evidence-based clinical guidelines
- Order, perform, and interpret diagnostic tests, including laboratory work, imaging, and point-of-care testing
- Perform in-office procedures, including incision and drainage (I&D), skin biopsies, and Pap smears
- Develop, implement, and adjust individualized treatment plans based on patient needs, clinical findings, and response to therapy
- Prescribe medications and therapies in accordance with state regulations and best practice standards
- Provide patient education on disease prevention, health maintenance, and treatment adherence to support long-term outcomes
- Collaborate effectively with supervising physicians to ensure coordinated, high-quality patient care
- Document all patient interactions accurately within the electronic health record (EHR) system, while ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations.
Experience
- Previous experience in family medicine, primary care, urgent care, or a related outpatient setting preferred
- Demonstrated ability to evaluate and manage patients across the lifespan, including pediatric, adult, and geriatric populations
- Experience with (or willingness to learn) common in-office procedures such as incision and drainage (I&D), skin biopsies, and Pap smears
- Strong clinical judgment with the ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team-based care model
- Familiarity with electronic medical records eClinicalWorks preferred
