Advanced Practice Provider

Burleson Health and Wellness is seeking an experienced Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner to lead an established family medicine clinic with strong physician support, no call, no weekends, and the autonomy to practice medicine the way it should be practiced.

This is an excellent opportunity for a confident, motivated APP who values practicing independently while still having the support of an established clinical team. The provider in this role will serve as the primary full-time APP for the Burleson office, with ongoing collaboration and support from the current PA and supervising physician.

POSITION HIGHLIGHTS

SCHEDULE

No evenings. No weekends. No call.

• Monday – Thursday: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
• Friday: 8:00 AM – 12:00 PM

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS

Competitive compensation based on experience and productivity. Expected annual range:

Base compensation $110,000-$130,000 with productivity incentives allowing top performers to exceed this range.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Independently evaluate and manage patients across the lifespan
• Diagnose and treat acute and chronic conditions
• Perform preventive and wellness visits
• Maintain efficient documentation and EMR workflow management
• Collaborate with supervising physician and clinic team
• Assist in maintaining smooth day-to-day clinic operations
• Contribute to a positive, patient-focused clinic culture

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Licensed Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner in the State of Texas
• Minimum of 5 years of family practice or primary care experience required
• Strong independent clinical decision-making skills
• Ability to manage patient flow efficiently
• Excellent communication and leadership abilities
• Comfortable practicing autonomously with collaborative physician support available
