Advanced Practice Provider

At Mobile Heart Specialists, we're passionate about providing exceptional cardiovascular care while creating a supportive, collaborative environment for our providers and staff. We are currently seeking a full-time Advanced Practice Provider (APP) to join our growing cardiology team and help improve the lives of patients throughout our community.

What You'll Do

As an Advanced Practice Provider, you'll play an integral role in delivering high-quality cardiovascular care by:

• Conducting comprehensive patient assessments and physical examinations
• Diagnosing and managing acute and chronic cardiovascular conditions
• Ordering, interpreting, and reviewing diagnostic testing, including ECGs, echocardiograms, stress tests, cardiac monitors, and laboratory studies
• Developing individualized treatment plans based on evidence-based practice
• Prescribing and managing medications within the scope of practice
• Educating patients and families on heart health, disease prevention, and lifestyle modifications
• Collaborating closely with cardiologists, primary care providers, and other healthcare specialists to coordinate patient care
• Managing follow-up appointments and ensuring continuity of care
• Supporting clinic operations while helping provide timely, efficient, and compassionate patient care

What We're Looking For

• Master's or Doctoral degree from an accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant/Physician Associate program
• Current certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP), Adult-Gerontology Nurse Practitioner (AGNP), or Physician Assistant/Physician Associate (PA-C)
• Current Alabama licensure as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant/Physician Associate
• Cardiology experience preferred
• Excellent communication, clinical judgment, critical thinking, and patient-centered care skills
• Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within a multidisciplinary cardiovascular team

• Master's (Required)

Experience:

• Cardiac: 1 year (Preferred)

License/Certification:

• NP or PA (Required)
