Position Summary:
A Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) works under the supervision / delegation of the Chief Medical Officer (CMO), individual supervising physicians, Director of Advanced Practitioners, and APP Regional Managers.
Shifts and Hours: Full-time is minimum 12 shifts/month; PRN is minimum 2 shifts/month (additional shifts can be picked up)
- Hours for Clinical Staff: Monday - Saturday: 7:30am - 8:00pm and Sundays 11:30am - 8:00pm
- FT Status: Minimum 12 shifts/month to include 2 Saturdays + 2 Sundays
- 1 On-call shift / month (must answer between 6am-3pm)
- Could be potentially dispatched to any DFW Clinic (not Wichita Falls)
- Salaried position - 100k-125k/year - Depends on Experience
- Based on approximately 139 hours / month
- Monthly pay period
- Not eligible for OT; extra shifts will be paid at an hourly rate in alignment with your normal salary rate (est. $60-75/hr)
- Ability to pick up extra shifts (at other clinics if available)
- Schedules made 60+ days in advance
- Performance evaluations within first 60-90 days
- PRN is hourly pay ($60-75/hr) on a biweekly pay schedule
- NOTE: PRN is not eligible for benefits but ARE eligible to participate in 401k plan AFTER 6 months of employment
- CLINICS CLOSED ON:
- New Year’s Day + Easter + 4th of July + Thanksgiving Day + Christmas Day
Required Qualifications:
- Minimum 1 year as a Provider
- Urgent Care experience highly preferred
- Ability to handle seeing 25-40 patients a day
- Unencumbered license(s) to practice as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician’s Assistant in Texas
- Current BLS certification, DEA license and any other certifications, board certifications, licenses, or regulatory mandates by the state to follow state laws
- Signed Delegation Protocol and Collaborative Practice Act Agreement
- It is the sole responsibility of the Mid-Level Medical Practitioner to maintain all certifications and registrations necessary as outlined by the state and federal government. Failure to do so may result in termination, as these are necessary for employment with CommunityMed.
