Collaborative Solutions in Psychiatry (CSIP) is an outpatient psychiatric practice in Madison, WI dedicated to providing high-quality, patient-centered mental health care to children and adults from a wide variety of backgrounds. The Opportunity

We are seeking a compassionate and motivated Advanced Practice Provider; either a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC) or Physician Assistant – Certified (PA-C); to join our growing outpatient psychiatry team.

This is a great opportunity for both new graduates and experienced providers. We are willing to train the right person and offer a structured onboarding ramp designed to set you up for long-term success.

What You'll Do

  • Conduct comprehensive psychiatric evaluations and medication management for children and adults
  • Develop and monitor pharmaceutical and non-pharmaceutical treatment plans
  • Order and interpret laboratory and diagnostic tests
  • Educate and counsel patients and families on diagnoses, treatment plans, and preventive care
  • Document accurately within the Electronic Medical Record (EMR)
  • Collaborate with the supervising physician and multidisciplinary care team
  • Assist with medication refill requests and prior authorizations
  • Participate in rotating crisis-line coverage (included in base pay)

Schedule & Setting

  • Full-time, Monday–Friday
  • Clinic hours: 7:00am–7:00pm; standard provider hours fall within 7:00am–6:00pm
  • Late afternoon appointments are part of the regular schedule
  • In-person and telemedicine (minimum three on-site days per week after training)
  • 100% on-site required during initial training period

Requirements

Education

  • PMHNP-BC: Master's Degree or higher in Nursing
  • PA-C: Master's Degree or higher in Physician Assistant Studies

Licensure & Certification

For PMHNP-BC:

  • Wisconsin RN License
  • Wisconsin Advanced Practice Nurse Prescriber License
  • Certification as Advanced Practice Nurse
  • DEA License (or willingness to obtain)
  • Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner certification preferred

For PA-C:

  • Wisconsin PA License
  • NCCPA Certification
  • DEA License (or willingness to obtain)

Experience

  • New graduates welcome; zero years of experience required
  • Prior knowledge of psychopharmacology preferred
