Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (Certified Nurse Practitioner)

Job Summary

Central Florida Vein & Vascular Center is seeking an experienced Nurse Practitioner to assist with vein procedures as well as patient care. This is a full-time position, Monday–Friday, 8:00 a.m.–4:30 p.m.

Since 1993, our experienced team of Board-Certified, Fellowship-Trained Vascular Surgeons has been providing patients of all ages with advanced, minimally invasive treatments for varicose veins, spider veins, leg pain, leg wounds, and swelling, as well as many other painful and unsightly conditions caused by venous insufficiency. Central Florida Vein & Vascular Center offers convenient, safe, minimally invasive procedures performed in an outpatient, office-based setting, followed by a shorter recovery period.

We are a large, full-service vein center utilizing laser ablation, microphlebectomy, Varithena®, VenaSeal™, ultrasound-guided foam sclerotherapy, and cosmetic sclerotherapy to treat superficial venous insufficiency and manage leg swelling and problematic veins of any size. These procedures require no incisions, involve minimal downtime, and are highly successful when performed by a trained phlebologist.

We are a patient-centered, boutique practice with four office locations: Ocoee, Oviedo, Kissimmee, and The Villages. Patient satisfaction is the cornerstone of our practice and is achieved through personalized attention to our patients’ needs. The care we provide is highly individualized; therefore, an affable personality and a positive attitude are essential for a successful applicant.

Experience in ultrasound-guided needle and catheter placement; sclerotherapy; Botox and filler procedures; or minimally invasive vein procedures is preferred. Dermatology or plastic surgery experience is a plus. Training will be provided; however, prior experience is preferred.

Responsibilities include:

· Performing initial patient evaluations

· Ordering and interpreting diagnostic Doppler studies

· Conducting follow-up office visits to review results and establish individualized plans of care

· Performing and/or assisting with endovenous laser therapy, VenaSeal™, Varithena®, ultrasound-guided foam sclerotherapy, and spider vein sclerotherapy

· Documenting all activities in the electronic medical record

· Complying with HIPAA and OSHA/safety regulations

· Performing all other duties as assigned

Pay: $94,303.44 - $113,569.73 per year

Experience:
