Advanced Practitioner (APRN/PA-C)

Responsibilities:

As an Orthopedic / Interventional Pain Management Nurse Practitioner / Physicians Assistant, you will play a crucial role in the healthcare team. Your responsibilities will include:

• Conducting thorough examinations of patients and reviewing their medical records
• Ordering and analyzing diagnostic tests such as blood tests and Xrays
• Proposing effective treatments for chronic pain and injuries
• Prescribing medications and overseeing patient medication management
• Maintaining accurate records and schedules
• Informing patients about their injuries and recommended treatments
• Promoting good health practices among patients
• Advancing professional knowledge through research and discourse

Skills:

To excel in this role, you should possess the following skills and qualifications:

• Proven experience as a NP/PA in a clinic, hospital, ER, or similar setting
• Expertise in primary care, acute care, and chronic care practices
• Knowledge of health and patient care regulations
• Excellent communication skills with strong ethics
• Team spirit and a positive attitude
• Patience and coolheadedness, especially in challenging situations
• Commitment to continuing education and gaining clinical experience

Necessities:

Candidates for this position must have a working knowledge of musculoskeletal conditions, with proficiency in spinal pathology, including the management of herniated discs, radiculopathy, facet-mediated pain syndromes, medication management, and physical therapy oversight. Additionally, experience and proficiency with joint injections, trigger point injections, PRP, Regenerative Medicine, and IV supplementation are necessary. There is also a possibility for cosmetic injection implementation in our facility in the future.

The ideal candidate should be comfortable working collaboratively with alternative health practitioners and reviewing MRI findings with patients.
