We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioner (ARNP) to join our dynamic healthcare team. You will work closely with physicians, specialists, and multidisciplinary teams to provide exceptional care, manage complex cases, and support patient education. This position offers an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact in both acute and outpatient environments, including hospital, outpatient clinics, and long-term care facilities.

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough patient assessments, including vital signs, physical examinations, and medical histories to inform clinical decision-making.
• Manage acute and chronic conditions by developing personalized treatment plans, prescribing medications, and performing procedures such as suturing, IV insertion, and catheterization.
• Utilize electronic health record (EHR) systems like Epic and eClinicalWorks to document patient encounters accurately and efficiently.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate care plans for patients in settings such as assisted living, nursing homes, hospitals, and outpatient clinics.
• Perform specialized procedures including botulinum toxin treatments for aesthetic or therapeutic purposes, dermal fillers, spinal taps, sonography, and airway management.
• Engage in clinical research initiatives to advance evidence-based practices within the organization.
• Provide triage services via telehealth or in-person visits for urgent patient needs while ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations.
• Support infection control protocols and maintain sterile processing standards during procedures like suturing or specimen collection.
• Educate patients on health coaching topics such as nutrition, medication administration, disease management (including infectious diseases), and post-discharge care.
• Assist in discharge planning, utilization review, case management, and working within Workers’ Compensation law frameworks when applicable.

Qualifications

• Valid Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioner license with current certification to practice independently in your state.
• Demonstrated experience in diverse clinical environments such as emergency medicine, ICU/critical care (including PICU), hospital medicine, or behavioral health settings.
• Proficiency with EMR/EHR systems including Epic, Cerner, and Athenahealth; experience with telehealth platforms is a plus.
• Strong knowledge of medical terminology, physiology, anatomy, CPT coding (Current Procedural Terminology), ICD coding (International Classification of Diseases), ICD-9/10 classifications.
• Hands-on experience with procedures like IV infusion/insertion, venipuncture/phlebotomy, sterile technique for suturing or catheterization.
• Familiarity with advanced pain management techniques including acute pain protocols and hospice & palliative medicine practices.
• Critical care experience such as ICU or Level I/II trauma center background preferred; experience working with complex cases involving infectious disease care or trauma is highly desirable.
• Ability to perform diagnostic evaluations using sonography or laboratory testing; experience with medical imaging is advantageous.
• Excellent patient assessment skills across age groups including pediatrics (including neonatal ventilator management), geriatrics (memory/dementia care), and special populations like individuals with developmental disabilities or those requiring memory care.
• Strong communication skills coupled with a commitment to delivering compassionate patient-centered care in fast-paced environments such as emergency rooms or urgent care clinics.
