Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioner (Part Time)

JOB SUMMARY

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioner to join our medical practice specializing in the evaluation and treatment of federally injured workers. Our patient population consists primarily of individuals covered under the U.S. Department of Labor (DOL/OWCP) workers’ compensation programs.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in musculoskeletal evaluation, including spine, muscle, and joint conditions, and be comfortable managing documentation requirements associated with federal injury claims.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Perform comprehensive physical examinations focused on musculoskeletal conditions
• Evaluate and manage spine, muscle, and joint disorders
• Treat patients with work-related injuries and occupational conditions
• Complete required DOL/OWCP medical documentation, including:
• Initial medical reports
• Monthly evaluations and progress updates as required
• Duty status and treatment plans
• Document all patient encounters accurately and in a timely manner
• Refer patients for physical therapy and other appropriate treatments
• Monitor patient progress and determine functional limitations and return-to-work status
• Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and case managers to ensure continuity of care
• Maintain compliance with federal workers’ compensation guidelines

Qualifications and Skills

• Must be licensed to practice as an ARNP in the state of Florida
• Experience evaluating musculoskeletal, orthopedic, or occupational injuries
• Strong clinical documentation and report-writing skills
• Familiarity with DOL/OWCP (training available)
• Ability to work independently and manage a structured patient schedule
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
