Advertising and Promotions Manager

Bucky’s and Yavapai Casinos are looking for an experienced Advertising & Promotions Manager to lead innovative marketing programs that drive guest engagement, player loyalty, and revenue growth. This is an exciting opportunity for a casino marketing professional who enjoys blending creativity with strategy, developing high-energy promotions, hosting memorable guest experiences, and using data and insights to shape campaigns that truly move the needle. In this role, you’ll have the chance to bring fresh ideas to life, collaborate with a dynamic team, and directly influence the guest experience across two casino properties in beautiful Prescott, Arizona.

SCOPE OF WORK:

Responsible for managing, developing and implementing Marketing promotions, player development, and Marketing services to accomplish desired strategic positioning. Will create and implement all player development and group sales strategies. Will assist with design and implementation of on and offsite Marketing programs, promotions, and special events to meet the established goals of the casinos.

This position will become familiar with the American Gaming Association (AGA) Voluntary Guidelines for Casino Marketing and Advertising.

Will become familiar with the Tribal Gaming Code, Tribal/State Gaming Compact, National Indian Gaming Commission (NIGC) Regulations, Indian Gaming Regulatory Act (IGRA), the Bank Secrecy Act (BSA) Title 31, and the Yavapai Gaming Commission (YGC) Departmental Internal Controls and Job Instructions.

WORK PERFORMED: The below duties and responsibilities are not an all-inclusive list, but rather a general representation of the duties and responsibilities associated with this position.

•Will supervise and schedule the assigned Marketing staff;

•Will manage the daily operation of the Player’s Club and Player’s Club personnel;

•Will oversee promotions and events ensuring they appeal to guests, promote revenue generation and are financially responsible;

•Will manage all elements of advertising including social media;

•Will ensure general employee population is aware of all additions and changes affecting the guest and Player’s Club programs;

•Will coordinate advertising with outside agencies;

•Will oversee the development of collateral pieces and print advertising by the Marketing Assistant, in conjunction with the advertising agency, to promote the Yavapai Gaming Agency (YGA) and its activities;

•Will understand and adhere to all YGA and Marketing Department standards, Policies, and Procedures;

•Will increase the market share and visitations of targeted guests, drive new target guest acquisition, group business and overall gaming revenue;

•Will forecast and budget for all Marketing promotions and player development expenses;

•Will participate in on-site and off-property functions;

  • Will host and emcee events as required;
  • Will monitor and approve use of all YGA logos on all collateral, literature and forms to ensure YGA advertising policy compliance;
  • Will monitor and evaluate all department activities and projects to ensure the successful execution and completion.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

  • Must have a high school diploma or GED;
  • Must maintain a high degree of confidentiality;
  • Must have a valid Arizona Driver’s License and be insurable under the Tribe’s insurance policy;
  • Must pass a pre-employment drug screening and adhere to the Tribal/Gaming’s Drug and Alcohol Free Workplace Policy during the course of employment;
  • Must pass a background security check prior to and during the course of employment with the Tribal/Gaming Agency in order to meet the Tribal/Sate Gaming Compact and/or Tribal Gaming Code;
  • Must adhere to all Tribal/Gaming Agency Policies and Procedures;
  • Must possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills, and a strong orientation to excellent guest service;
  • Must be self-reliant and capable of working independently as appropriate or necessary;
  • Must have a minimum of five (5) years of casino Marketing experience;
  • Must have a minimum of two (2) years of supervisory experience;
  • Must have two (2) years of experience designing and executing promotions, advertising, special events, and Marketing offers for a casino;
  • Must be able to obtain all required Tribal/State Licenses to perform job;
  • Must be proficient with PC spreadsheet and database skills (Excel, Access, Word, and PowerPoint);
  • Must maintain a professional appearance;
  • Must have exceptional grammar, writing, and proofreading skills;
  • Must have attention to detail and superior time management skills are critical;
  • Must have three (3) to five (5) years of Gaming and Marketing experience;
  • Must have broad understanding of Marketing and Advertising techniques;
  • Must be creative with innovative, excellent problem solving skills;
  • Must be highly organized and have ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities;
  • Must be able to develop and analyze spreadsheet data;
  • Must be knowledgeable of Gaming laws and regulations;
  • Must be able to lift and periodically carry up to 25lbs;
  • Must be able to work flexible hours;
  • Must be at least 21 years of age.

PREFERRED REQUIREMENTS:

  • Prefer a Bachelor's Degree in Marketing and/or related subject or experience and education equivalent.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $66,081.00 - $87,887.00 per year
