- Drafting, vetting, and reviewing legal documents including agreements, deeds, contracts, MOUs, notices, affidavits, petitions, and pleadings.
- Conducting legal research on statutes, case laws, rules, and regulations relevant to matters handled by the firm.
- Representing clients before Courts, Tribunals, Authorities, and Quasi-Judicial Bodies (Civil, Criminal, High Court, DRT, NCLT, etc.).
- Preparing and filing cases, applications, written statements, rejoinders, vakalatnamas, and other procedural documents.
- Attending court hearings, mentioning matters, seeking adjournments, arguing matters, and taking instructions from seniors/clients.
- Advising clients on legal rights, obligations, risks, and available legal remedies.
- Handling litigation management including case tracking, compliance with timelines, and follow-up of court orders.
- Drafting and issuing legal notices, replies, and correspondence on behalf of clients.
- Liaising with courts, registry offices, advocates, government departments, and statutory authorities.
- Maintaining proper case files, records, cause lists, and legal documentation.
- Assisting senior advocates in trial preparation, arguments, and strategy formulation.
- Ensuring compliance with procedural laws, court rules, and professional ethics.
- Providing support in arbitration, mediation, and negotiation matters, wherever required.
- Attending client meetings and explaining legal positions in a clear and professional manner.
- Any other legal work assigned by the firm/client from time to time.
