Aerospace Welder

Position Overview

We are seeking a skilled Aerospace Welder to join our production team. This role focuses on high-precision GTAW (TIG) welding of aerospace-grade materials, including titanium, stainless steel, and aluminum. The ideal candidate has strong technical welding skills, attention to detail, and experience working with thin-wall tubing in regulated manufacturing environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform GTAW (TIG) welding on aerospace components using titanium, stainless steel, and aluminum
• Weld in 6G and 5F positions on thin-wall tubing (as low as .020 wall thickness)
• Follow approved Procedure Qualification Records (PQRs) and welding specifications
• Maintain high standards for quality, accuracy, and repeatability
• Read and interpret engineering drawings, weld symbols, and work instructions
• Work collaboratively with production, quality, and engineering teams
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area in compliance with safety regulations

Required Qualifications

• Proven experience with GTAW (TIG) welding
• Experience welding titanium, stainless steel, and aluminum
• Ability to weld in 6G and 5F positions
• Experience with thin-wall tubing (.020 wall thickness preferred)
• Familiarity with Procedure Qualification Records (PQRs) and regulated welding environments
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality

Preferred Qualifications

• Aerospace or high‑precision manufacturing experience
• Current or prior welding certifications (ASME, AWS, or equivalent)
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
