Aesthetic Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN)

Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and highly skilled Aesthetic Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) to join our innovative aesthetic medicine team. Duties

  • Perform non-invasive and minimally invasive aesthetic procedures including dermal fillers, botulinum toxin treatments, esthetic laser treatments, and other skin rejuvenation techniques.
  • Conduct comprehensive patient assessments to determine suitability for various aesthetic interventions while explaining procedures clearly and confidently.
  • Manage pre- and post-treatment care, including patient education on skincare routines, recovery protocols, and expected outcomes.
  • Maintain meticulous medical documentation within electronic health record (EHR) systems such as Epic or eClinicalWorks, ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations.
  • Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to develop customized treatment plans tailored to individual client needs.
  • Stay current with industry advancements in aesthetic medicine and participate in ongoing training related to new techniques and technologies.
  • Ensure all procedures adhere to sterile processing standards and aseptic techniques for patient safety.

Requirements

  • Valid APRN license with certification in aesthetics or relevant specialty area; experience in dermatology or cosmetic nursing preferred.
  • Demonstrated proficiency with medical office systems such as Epic, Athenahealth, or Cerner; telehealth experience is a plus.
  • Hands-on experience with botulinum toxin injections, dermal fillers, laser treatments, and other esthetic procedures.
  • Strong background in patient assessment, vital signs monitoring, anatomy knowledge, and clinical documentation.
  • Experience working in diverse settings including outpatient clinics, hospitals (Level I Trauma Center or Level II Trauma Center experience), or surgical environments such as OR or ICU is highly desirable.
  • Knowledge of CPT coding, ICD coding (ICD-10/ICD-9), and utilization review processes for billing purposes.
  • Ability to perform venipuncture, IV infusion, suturing, catheterization, phlebotomy, and sterile processing techniques confidently.
  • Critical care experience including emergency medicine or acute pain management enhances your ability to handle complex cases effectively.
  • Excellent communication skills for patient education on skin care, aging processes, and treatment expectations; experience working with children or seniors is beneficial.

Pay: $100,000.00 - $115,000.00 per year
