Aesthetician

Description:

The Aesthetician is a licensed skincare professional employed as a W-2 team member responsible for delivering high-quality, results-driven aesthetic treatments while providing an exceptional client experience. This role combines technical expertise with a consultative, sales-minded approach, including skin assessments, treatment planning, client education, follow-up care, and relationship building to support client satisfaction, retention, and overall practice growth.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Perform thorough client consultations, including skin analysis, history review, and personalized treatment planning
• Provide aesthetic services within scope of licensure, such as facials, chemical peels, exfoliation treatments, and other approved skincare services
• Educate clients on recommended treatments, skincare products, expected outcomes, risks, benefits, and post-treatment care
• Recommend home-care regimens and future treatment plans aligned with client goals and clinical best practices
• Obtain informed consent and ensure all documentation is accurate, complete, and timely
• Perform post-treatment check-ins and follow-up communication to assess results, satisfaction, and address concerns
• Support practice growth through ethical sales conversations, retail recommendations, rebooking, and client retention
• Build and maintain long-term client relationships through consistent communication and high-touch service
• Collaborate with providers, injectors, and front desk staff to ensure a seamless client experience
• Maintain a clean, organized, and professional treatment room in accordance with infection control and safety standards
• Participate in staff meetings, trainings, and continuing education as required
• Adhere to all HIPAA, privacy, and confidentiality requirements

Requirements:

Qualifications

• Active and unrestricted Aesthetician license in the state of Florida
• Experience in medical spa or clinical aesthetics preferred
• Knowledge of skin conditions, skincare ingredients, and aesthetic treatment protocols
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and client education skills
• Comfort with treatment planning, retail sales, and client retention strategies
• Professional appearance and demeanor consistent with a luxury medical spa environment

Florida Compliance & Professional Standards

• Must comply with all applicable Florida laws, rules, and professional standards governing aesthetician practice
• Must practice strictly within scope of licensure and under applicable medical spa protocols
• Must maintain all required licenses, certifications, and continuing education
• Must follow all Renu Skin & Wellness policies, procedures, clinical protocols, and standards of conduct
