BSI is seeking an energetic and passionate Par-Time Aesthetician to join our growing dermatology and cosmetic surgery team at our beautiful Los Altos clinic. Hourly range from $25 to 32 an hour depending on experience plus bonus. This role is ideal for someone who has a strong interest in waxing, skincare, and cosmetic treatments and who takes pride in delivering exceptional patient experiences.

We’re looking for someone who is emotionally and professionally mature, proactive in problem-solving, and empowered to address patient needs as they arise.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• administers professional facials, peels, HydraFacial and other medical spa and natural skincare treatments to our patients.
• possess a thorough knowledge of the skin, all skin types, sensitive, acne and pre and post surgical protocols
• Provide consistent professional medical treatments, facial and body treatments in accordance with office protocols and accepted certification practices.
• Have complete knowledge and understanding of all services and products while educating and training patients in these areas so they are aware of all of our services offered.

• Actively promote home skin care regimens and document all medical information using appropriate forms and clinical notes in the software system.
• Actively promote all treatments, services, sessions and retail, as well as programs, promotions and/or discounts available.

REQUIREMENTS

• High School Diploma or equivalent (GED) required.
  
• Licensed Esthetician
• Working knowledge of medical terminology
  
• One-year experience working as an Aesthetician
• Excellent interpersonal, oral and written communication skills.
• Strong organizational, problem-solving, and analytical skills; able to manage competing priorities and workflow.
