Medical Esthetician Job Description

Bella Medici Medical Spa is seeking a motivated, professional, and experienced Medical Esthetician to join our growing team. The ideal candidate is passionate about skin health, advanced aesthetics, patient education, body treatments, and creating an exceptional client experience.

Position Overview

The Medical Esthetician will provide high-quality aesthetic treatments, assist with patient care, support treatment planning, and help promote services through social media content. This role is ideal for someone who is confident, detail-oriented, personable, and excited to grow within a medical spa environment.

Responsibilities

Perform professional aesthetic treatments including:

• HydraFacial treatments
• Ultrasonic facial treatments
• Ultrasonic body treatments
• Microneedling
• Chemical peels
• Laser treatments, as permitted by licensure and training
• Skin tightening and resurfacing treatments
• Customized facial treatments
• Body contouring and body-focused aesthetic treatments
• Massage techniques when applicable and within licensure/scope of practice
• Pre- and post-procedure skin preparation and aftercare education

Additional responsibilities include:

• Conduct skin assessments and recommend appropriate treatments and skincare products
• Educate patients on treatment options, skincare routines, body treatment plans, and expected results
• Maintain accurate patient documentation and treatment notes
• Follow all safety protocols, sanitation standards, and medical spa policies
• Prepare treatment rooms, equipment, and supplies
• Assist with before-and-after photos and patient progress tracking
• Support retail skincare sales and product education
• Build strong, trusting relationships with patients
• Maintain a polished, professional, and welcoming patient experience

Social Media & Marketing Responsibilities

The Medical Esthetician will also help support Bella Medici’s social media presence by:

• Creating short educational videos and treatment content
• Taking appropriate before-and-after photos with patient consent
• Sharing skincare tips, treatment highlights, body treatments, and product education
• Assisting with reels, stories, and promotional posts
• Helping promote specials, events, and new services
• Representing the Bella Medici brand in a professional and engaging way

Qualifications

• Licensed Esthetician in the state of Missouri
• Medical spa or dermatology experience preferred
• Experience with HydraFacial, microneedling, lasers, ultrasonic treatments, body treatments, and advanced skincare preferred
• Massage experience preferred when applicable and within appropriate licensure
• Strong knowledge of skin health, treatment protocols, and professional skincare products
• Comfortable creating social media content and appearing on camera
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Professional appearance and positive attitude
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Willingness to learn, train, and grow with the practice
