This role is the custodian of all Personnel Costs budgets across the the AME Cluster. The incumbent will report directly to the AME HR Director, with a functional working relationship with the AME Compensation Manager and reporting to AME HR Director.
Responsibilities :
- Build the Personnel Cost Budgets (Salary & Non-Salary costs) for all AME Affiliates.
- Steer ABP & FC reviews with People Services, MU HR, MU Finance, Cluster Finance and Regional teams.
- Conduct budget (General Expenses) reviews at each cycle with MU GM, MU HRD & AME Compensation Manager.
- Track Position Count for all AME affiliates.
- Produce variance analysis at each budget cycle (GE bridge, Position Count).
- Vacancy Management for all AME affiliates (ensuring governance & control).
- Reconcile People Costs Actual vs Budget monthly, with each MU HRD & MU Finance Controller.
- Establish a working structure with People Services India to ensure integrity of budget inputs (as an ongoing process).
- SPOC with AME & MU Finance teams on all queries related to personnel costs
- Tracking and monitoring of any GE commitment and key interface with Finance.
- SPOC for any reporting in regard to transformation projects and GE efficiencies tracking.
- Data & Analytics - SPOC for any internal reporting required for Region/Global (data source: Central Services).
- Lead the preparation of any business review/ABP presentations, ensuring integrity of data/insights and consistency across AME.

- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent in Finance, or related field.
- At least 5 years’ experience in Finance/ Financial Controlling/ Budget Controlling.
- Working knowledge of SAP (understanding of management reporting structures).
- Excellent ability to use Excel.
- Experience in working in multi-market set-ups is a must.
- Strong interest in numbers, budget planning and improving processes; ability to actively challenge the status quo.
- Mathematical aptitude, creative problem-solving skills with limited resources, strong analytical skills, and ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing.
Geographical Coverage: All AME affiliates (South Africa, Nigeria, Kenya, UAE, Saudi Arabia, Egypt & Morocco).
