After Effects Editor For Youtube Documentary Videos

We’re Hiring: Full-Time After Effects Video Editor (Political, Sports & Global Affairs Documentaries)

We are seeking a skilled After Effects Video Editor to join our team full-time. The ideal candidate will have strong experience editing YouTube political and global affairs documentaries, with a cinematic and journalistic approach to storytelling. Candidates with experience in sports, historical, and other serious documentary formats will be given preference. You will be responsible for managing the entire post-production process — from visual assembly to motion design and final delivery — ensuring every video maintains a professional, impactful tone.

Requirements:

● Proven experience editing political, global affairs, or serious documentary-style YouTube videos
● Strong command of Adobe After Effects for compositing, motion graphics, and animation
● Experience in editing sports or historical documentaries is highly preferred
● Deep understanding of narrative flow, pacing, and visual storytelling for long-form content
● Ability to source and integrate visuals, archival footage, maps, and motion graphics to enhance storytelling
● Proficient in sound design, audio balancing, and music integration to create emotional depth
● Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines under pressure
● Must bring and use own laptop and editing setup
● Must be available to start immediately
