After-Hours Receptionist / Scheduler (Remote – Atlanta Area)

Schedule: Monday–Friday | 4:00 PM – 12:00 AM (Midnight)
Position Type: Part-Time / Evening Shift (Work From Home)

Position Overview

Divine Angels Home Care is seeking a reliable and professional After-Hours Receptionist/Scheduler to support our operations during evening hours. This role is responsible for answering incoming calls, assisting caregivers and clients, and resolving scheduling issues to ensure continuity of care for our clients.

This is a remote/work-from-home position; however, candidates must be located in or near the Atlanta, Georgia area and be available for required in-office training and occasional in-person meetings throughout the year.

Key Responsibilities

  • Answer incoming after-hours calls from clients, caregivers, and staff in a professional and timely manner
  • Address and resolve scheduling issues, including call-outs, shift changes, and coverage needs
  • Communicate scheduling updates clearly with caregivers and office staff
  • Document call details and scheduling actions accurately in company systems
  • Escalate urgent or emergency matters according to company protocol
  • Maintain confidentiality and professionalism when handling sensitive client information
  • Provide excellent customer service while supporting caregivers and clients after normal business hours

Technology & Equipment Requirements

  • Must download and use the RingCentral application on a personal smartphone to make and receive company calls
  • Reliable high-speed internet connection required
  • Quiet, professional work environment suitable for handling confidential calls
  • Employee will receive a $50/month phone reimbursement

Training & Meeting Requirements

  • Must complete initial in-office training prior to working remotely
  • Required attendance at scheduled Zoom meetings
  • Must attend occasional in-person meetings and trainings throughout the year

Qualifications

  • Must live in or around the Atlanta, GA area
  • Previous receptionist, scheduling, call center, or home care experience preferred
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to remain calm and professional in urgent situations
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities
  • Comfortable using scheduling software, mobile apps, and computer systems
  • Dependable, punctual, and able to work independently

Preferred Experience

  • Home care or healthcare scheduling experience
  • Experience handling high-volume calls
  • Customer service or administrative support background
