After School Academic Tutor

Job Title: Part-time Tutor
Compensation: $25–$30/hrs

Advanced Math, Geometry, AP Chemistry, AP Calculus, AP Biology, AP Statistics

Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Tutor to join our team. The ideal candidate will be passionate about education and committed to helping students reach their full potential. As a Tutor, you will provide academic support to students of various ages and skill levels, helping them achieve their academic goals.

Qualifications:

• Consistent tutoring schedule
• Available to work between 2:30 PM – 7:00 PM (Monday–Friday)
• A passion for helping students succeed!
• Responsibilities:
• Conduct one-on-one or small group tutoring sessions
• Create personalized lesson plans based on student needs
• Assist with assignments and ensure understanding of materials
• Teach effective study skills and learning strategies
• Monitor student progress and provide feedback to parents/guardians
• Collaborate with teachers and parents to create individualized education plans
• Use various teaching methods to engage students
• Foster a positive, supportive learning environment
• Bachelor’s degree in Education or related field (or currently pursuing)
• Prior tutoring, teaching, or mentoring experience
• Strong knowledge of subject matter (Math, Science, etc.)
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Patience and flexibility in adapting teaching methods
• Classroom management skills
• Experience in theater, sports coaching, childcare, or early childhood education is a plus
• Familiarity with childhood development principles is a plus
