After School Care Teacher Assistant

Job Description

• Position to begin-- Week of April 20, 2026
• Position runs all school year and into the summer months.
• Employment by school year with opportunities to earn more on Teacher Workdays, Holiday Camps, and during the Summer Camp season.
• Occasional need for noon dismissal extended shift (11:30am- 6:00pm or half shifts (11:30am-2:30pm or 2:30pm-6:00pm)
• Bonuses can be earned for helping with Parent-Teacher Organization Event Childcare
• Hourly pay $10.00/hour
• Position is Part-Time with the opportunity to gain more hours during Teacher workdays starting at 11:30am and for Mini Camps on Holidays starting as early as 7:45am- 9:00am running into our regular After Care hours.
• Position needs someone with a flexible schedule Monday-Friday.

Qualifications:

Our Lady of Grace Catholic School is looking for energetic, responsible adults to monitor and assist children in After School Care in an inclusive Catholic environment. Responsibilities include assisting teacher with engaging and fun recreational activities, assisting with homework and reading, monitoring students, and maintaining records. An excellent and positive rapport with students, teachers, and parents is a must. Experience in a similar setting is a plus. Hours will fall within 2:30-6:00 pm every school day, with the occasional 11:30am-6:00pm shift and unless scheduled otherwise. Candidates must have a successful history of working with children. Candidates must provide a resume, cover letter, and at least one reference from a job or volunteer position in supervising or monitoring children, babysitting, tutoring, or coaching. Candidates must be willing to submit to a criminal background check for employment.
