Job Description:

Part Time: 1 co-teacher for a very special after school program

1st, 2nd & 3rd Mondays & Tuesdays of each month (6 program days per month from 3:15-5:45PM) Help run a Parent-Child Tea (co-lead, create a tea snack for 2 and help run craft, story, tea time) Ages 5-12

We are seeking one new part time co-teacher who, in a collaborative environment, would have the following responsibilities:
- program "tea" planning with a co-teacher, setting up our magical environment, managing and supervising children and parents, providing a special tea, participating in closing song and celebrating monthly birthdays

-communicating warmly and respectfully with children, parents and fellow teachers and staff. Have a heart for hospitality and families. Be warm and enthusiastic!

-shop, prep and serve special "tea for two" trays for 12-14 parent and child pairs (we have planned menus)

-Ensure you make this special parent/child "date" extra special by choosing darling paper products, cutting cute sandwich shapes etc..

-co-lead and assist with another teacher who is in charge of creating a craft and reading a story before tea time.

We are not losing any teachers- we are moving hours around. You have extra special colleagues that await you.
