Whizara delivers hands-on, interactive coding and robotics classes for K–12 students in Oakland. We’re seeking enthusiastic, tech-savvy, and dependable instructors to join our growing team and help students build 21st-century skills in coding, problem-solving, and robotics.

What You’ll Do

• Deliver interactive coding and robotics lessons to K–12 students
• Create a fun, inclusive, and collaborative classroom environment
• Guide students through projects and challenges using the provided curriculum
• Inspire curiosity, problem-solving, and teamwork
• Provide constructive feedback on student progress and curriculum effectiveness
• Communicate professionally with students, parents, and Whizara staff

Who We’re Looking For

• Computer science or technology enthusiasts, students, or graduates
• Proficiency in one or more programming languages: Python, Java, JavaScript, HTML/CSS, C/C++, Scratch
• Familiarity with robotics platforms: LEGO Spike Prime, Arduino, Raspberry Pi, Micro:bit
• Strong communication and classroom management skills
• Passion for teaching kids and making STEM learning fun
• Reliable, punctual, and self-motivated
• Able to teach in-person in Oakland, CA

Preferred (Not Required):

• Prior experience teaching, tutoring, or mentoring K–12 students
• Experience with after-school programs or STEM education
