We are seeking a dedicated passionate After School Instructors to join our educational team. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to fostering a positive learning environment and will be responsible for educating students in various subjects while promoting their social, emotional, and academic development. This role requires effective classroom management skills and the ability to engage students through innovative teaching methods.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement lesson plans that are fun, creative and enriching.
• Manage classroom behavior effectively, ensuring a safe and respectful learning environment.
• Utilize various teaching strategies to engage students, including hands-on activities, group projects, and technology integration.
• Assess student progress through regular evaluations and provide constructive feedback to support their growth.
• Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and support staff to address individual student needs, particularly those requiring special education services.
• Create an inclusive atmosphere that respects diversity and encourages participation from all students.
• Incorporate elements of childhood development into lesson planning to support holistic growth.
• Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance teaching skills and stay current with educational best practices.

Qualifications

• Experience working with students in an educational setting is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of classroom management techniques and behavior management strategies.
• Familiarity with special education is a plus.
• Background in childhood development or related fields is desirable.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to build rapport with students.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $40.00 - $80.00 per hour

Expected hours: 2.5 – 12 per week
