Whizara delivers hands-on, interactive after-school programs for K–12 students in San Francisco, CA.

We are seeking enthusiastic, tech-savvy, and reliable instructors to join our growing team and help students build valuable, real-world skills through our diverse course offerings.

Whether you're an undergraduate student, recent graduate, or early-career professional, this part-time opportunity allows you to share your passion for education while making a meaningful impact. What You’ll Do

  • Deliver engaging, interactive lessons to K–12 students during after-school hours
  • Foster a fun, inclusive, and collaborative classroom environment
  • Guide students through hands-on projects and structured challenges
  • Encourage curiosity, creativity, problem-solving, and teamwork
  • Provide constructive feedback on student progress and curriculum effectiveness
  • Communicate professionally with students, parents, and Whizara team members

Who We’re Looking For

Undergraduate or associate students, graduates or aspiring educators who can teach one or more of the following:

Coding Languages:
Python, Java, JavaScript, HTML/CSS, C/C++, Scratch

Robotics Platforms:
LEGO Spike Prime, Arduino, Raspberry Pi, Micro:bit

Other Courses:
American Sign Language 1

Qualifications:

  • Strong communication and classroom management skills
  • Passion for teaching children and making STEM learning engaging and accessible
  • Reliable, punctual, and self-motivated
  • Available to teach in person in San Francisco

Preferred (Not Required):

  • Experience teaching, tutoring, or mentoring K–12 students
  • Background in after-school programs or STEM education

Job Types: Part-time, Contract, Temporary

Pay: $25.00 - $35.00 per hour
