After School Mandarin Chinese Teacher (Grade K-4th)

Time Commitment:

• 2-6:00 pm (Two class sessions: 2-3 pm class preparation; Group 1 - 3:30-4:30; Group 2- 4:45-5:45 pm, student supervision time and class preparation time outside of class time)
• Monday to Friday
• Each group has 10-15 children, between 6-9 years old

Responsibilities:

• Developing lesson plans and teaching materials that are aligned with our curriculum together with other staff members in our team
• Providing positive and concrete feedback to parents about their child’s progress
• Exercising close supervision to the students to keep them engaged and safe
• Communicating with parents about their child’s progress, behavior issues, and other concerns when parents come to pick up
• Using effective classroom management techniques to support different age groups
• Creating a fun, creative learning environment that engages students and encourages them to learn

Requirement:

• Bachelor's degree or higher, majoring in education or related fields
• Experience working with elementary school children
• Be able to commute to San Carlos
• Enjoy working with young children and be good at classroom management

After School 需中文老师1-2名。周一到周五每天的3-6:00 点，两节中文课，每节1小时。根据学历，工作经验和教学效果会有所调整。期待你的加入！
