After School Nanny / Babysittet ( Multiple NYC Families)

About the Opportunity

We are currently working with multiple families across New York City who are seeking after-school caregivers. Instead of placing you into just one position, you’ll be considered for multiple after-school opportunities based on your availability, experience, and personal preferences — including things like your schedule, energy, interests, and the type of family environment you thrive in.

These roles typically focus on supporting children during the after-school hours from school pick-ups to homework help and play while creating a consistent, positive, and engaging environment.

We work with families who are looking for more than just help — they are looking for someone who can be a trusted and valued presence in their child’s day. Our goal is to create placements where there is real alignment — not just in logistics, but in personality, communication style, and overall dynamic.

Common Responsibilities

Responsibilities will vary by family, but most after-school roles include:

• School pick-up and safe transportation to home or activities
• Supporting homework and school routines
• Engaging children in age-appropriate play, reading, or creative activities
• Preparing light snacks or simple meals
• Helping maintain a tidy and organized space for the children
• Communicating with parents about the child’s day, routines, and any updates
