<Duties>

• Plan and implement engaging after-school activities that promote social, emotional, and academic development
• Manage classroom behavior using effective behavior management strategies to ensure a safe and respectful environment
• Supervise children during indoor and outdoor activities, ensuring their safety at all times
• Collaborate with parents, teachers, and staff to support each child's unique needs and progress
• Maintain a clean, organized activity space that encourages creativity and learning
• Provide first aid when necessary and respond promptly to any emergencies or behavioral concerns
• Lead sports coaching, arts projects, theater activities or tutoring sessions to enrich the program experience
• Foster positive relationships with children by demonstrating patience, encouragement, and active engagement

<Requirements>

• Prior experience working with children in settings such as daycare, camp, tutoring, or babysitting is highly valued
• Knowledge of classroom management techniques and childhood development principles
• Certification in first aid and CPR is preferred; willingness to obtain if not already certified
• Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with colleagues and families
• Ability to manage behavior with patience and professionalism in a lively environment
• Background in special education or experience working with children with diverse needs is a plus
• Passion for working with students and supporting their growth through creative teaching methods
• Demonstrated ability to lead activities such as sports coaching, theater productions or childcare programs
