Job Summary
Celebration Center seeking a passionate and energetic After School Program Teacher to inspire and engage children in a dynamic, nurturing environment. In this role, you will be responsible for creating a safe space where students can learn, play, and grow after school hours. Responsibilities

• Plan and implement engaging activities that support childhood development, including arts, sports, theater, Bible, and educational games.
• Manage classroom behavior effectively through positive reinforcement and behavior management techniques.
• Supervise children during indoor and outdoor activities, ensuring safety at all times through vigilant classroom management.
• Collaborate with parents, guardians, and school staff to support each child's individual needs, including those requiring special education or additional assistance.
• Maintain a clean and organized environment that complies with health and safety regulations; administer basic first aid when necessary.
• Facilitate tutoring sessions or homework help to reinforce learning concepts introduced during the day.
• Incorporate Christian counseling principles when appropriate to support the emotional well-being of children in a faith-based setting.

Skills

• Proven ability in classroom management and behavior management strategies to create a positive learning atmosphere.
• Experience working with children across various age groups, including early childhood education and daycare settings.
• Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with parents, colleagues, and children.
• Familiarity with childhood development principles and techniques for working with students in educational or recreational environments.
