Job Summary

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver hands-on STEAM activities tailored to diverse age groups, fostering curiosity and problem-solving skills.
• Manage classroom behavior effectively, ensuring a respectful and inclusive environment for all children.
• Supervise children during activities, snack times, and transitions, maintaining safety at all times.
• Implement classroom management strategies to promote engagement and positive social interactions among students.
• Communicate with parents and guardians regarding student progress, behavior, and program updates.
• Ensure all activities adhere to safety protocols, including basic first aid procedures when necessary.
• Collaborate with team members to develop innovative curriculum ideas that align with educational standards and developmental needs.

Qualifications

• Prior experience working with children in educational settings such as daycare, camp, tutoring, or after-school programs.
• Knowledge of childhood development principles and early childhood education best practices.
• Strong classroom management skills combined with the ability to handle behavioral challenges constructively.
• Certification or training in first aid and CPR is preferred but not required; willingness to obtain certification is a plus.
• Experience working with children with special needs or in inclusive settings is advantageous.
• Passion for STEM education, arts integration, and fostering creativity in young learners.

Pay: $26.10 - $31.43 per hour
