Duties

• Assist in planning and executing a variety of educational and recreational activities tailored to children’s interests and developmental needs
• Support classroom management by maintaining order, encouraging positive behavior, and implementing behavior management strategies
• Supervise children during activities, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times
• Collaborate with educators, counselors, and other staff to deliver inclusive programs that meet diverse needs, including special education considerations
• Provide basic first aid when necessary and respond promptly to any emergencies or incidents
• Support early childhood education initiatives by fostering social skills, emotional regulation, and childhood development milestones
• Engage children in creative play, sports coaching, theater activities, or tutoring sessions to promote holistic growth

Qualifications

• Prior experience working with children in settings such as daycare, camp, tutoring, or babysitting is highly desirable
• School Age/ Early Childhood Experience
• Knowledge of classroom management techniques and behavior management strategies
• Certification or training in first aid and CPR is preferred
• Background in special education or early childhood education is a plus
• Strong communication skills with the ability to work effectively with children, parents, and team members
• Demonstrated ability to create a positive, inclusive environment that supports childhood development
• Passion for working with children and commitment to fostering a safe and supportive space for learning and play
