Job Title: After School Teacher (Part-Time)
Location: Irmo (7579 St. Andrews Rd, 29063) - More shifts available if willing to work at other locations as well.
Job Type: Part-time
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 1:45 PM – 6:30 PM

Job Summary

We are seeking a passionate and dependable After School Teacher to join our team! This part-time position is ideal for individuals who love working with children and want to make a daily impact through education, creativity, and physical activity.

Responsibilities

• Lead engaging lessons that teach children important character traits such as respect, kindness, and responsibility.
• Plan and facilitate arts & crafts projects that encourage creativity and self-expression.
• Organize and supervise sports and active games to promote teamwork, fitness, and fun.
• Ensure a safe and supportive environment for all students at all times.
• Ride the school bus to assist with transporting students from their school to the after-school program site.
• Communicate effectively with team members and parents as needed.

Qualifications

• Experience working with children (in a school, camp, daycare, or similar setting) preferred.
• Energetic, patient, and positive attitude.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Must be at least 18 years old and pass required background checks.
• CPR/First Aid Certification a plus (or willing to obtain upon hire).
