Responsibilities

• Supervise children during after-school hours, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times
• Plan and facilitate engaging activities that promote childhood development, including arts, sports, theater, and educational games
• Manage classroom behavior through effective behavior management strategies and positive reinforcement
• Assist children with homework and tutoring to support their academic progress
• Implement classroom management techniques to maintain a respectful and organized environment
• Collaborate with parents, fellow staff, and special education professionals to meet each child's individual needs
• Support children in social interactions, fostering teamwork and respectful communication

Experience

• Prior experience working with children in settings such as daycare, camp, tutoring, babysitting, or after-school programs is a MUST
• Demonstrated skills in classroom management and behavior management techniques
• Knowledge of early childhood education principles and childhood development stages
