Responsibilities

• Supervise children in a variety of activities including homework help, arts and crafts, sports, theater, and recreational games
• Implement classroom management strategies to maintain a safe and respectful environment
• Support children with special educational needs by adapting activities and providing individualized assistance
• Ensure the safety of all children by following proper childcare protocols and administering basic first aid when necessary
• Communicate regularly with parents or guardians regarding children's progress and behavior
• Coordinate with other staff members to plan engaging curriculum-based activities aligned with childhood development principles
• Foster positive behavior management techniques to promote cooperation, respect, and social skills among children

Skills

• Strong classroom management abilities with experience in behavior management techniques
• Knowledge of early childhood education and childhood development best practices
• Experience working with children in childcare, daycare, or camp settings
• Ability to provide first aid and handle emergency situations confidently
• Excellent communication skills for working with children, parents, and team members
• Familiarity with special education strategies and working with children with diverse needs
• Passion for teaching, tutoring, sports coaching, or theater activities that inspire creativity and learning
