1. Dance Teacher

Position: Teaching Artist
Location: Compass Charter School
Schedule: Afterschool hours, Weds 3-4pm

Description:
Welcome to the class where music moves your feet and your soul! Lola’s Dance class is all about high energy, movement and self expression. Children explore all different type of music and dance in a playful and supportive environment. From group choreography to freestyle moments, students learn coordination, rhythm and confidence through dance.

Responsibilities:

• Design and facilitate lessons
• Incorporate cultural music, visual arts, and stories into lessons
• Inspire curiosity and respect for diverse music and dance
• Maintain a joyful and organized classroom environment

Qualifications:

• Experience teaching Pre-K to KG
• Background in cultural studies, music education, or related fields
• Creative, flexible, and enthusiastic about cultural education
• Strong classroom management skills

Job Types: Part-time, Contract

Pay: $90.00 per hour
