After School Teacher (MON, WED, THURS)

You do NOT need to be a certified teacher, nor do you need to be a science major. As a Mad Scientist you will lead students through an inquiry-based discovery method involving instructor demonstrations, hands-on activities and amazing take-home projects that will illustrate how science affects the world around us. We are currently looking for energetic and responsible individuals to join our growing team to conduct exciting science programs during after-school hours for elementary age kids. This is a great job if you enjoy working with kids, want some extra cash, have a need for a resume builder, and love doing fun experiments!

This is a PART TIME position for those who can meet the qualification's below:

• Instructors should be energetic, sociable, and dependable
• Must have a working, reliable vehicle (NO UBER, NO BUS - MUST HAVE OWN VEHICLE)
• Childcare/teaching experience preferred
• Pay starts at $35 per class (classes are typically 45 minutes to 1 hour long)
• Instructors should have a clear background check to be hired

We'd need someone that is willing to take on a schedule that ranges between the hours of 2-6 pm (MONDAY, WEDNESDAY, THURSDAY), and for about 1-2 hours a day. You would be working with the same group of kids throughout the semester at an elementary school your area. We also provide weekday and weekend opportunities for Birthday Parties, Special Events, Camps.

Mad Science will provide all equipment and training. We will also compensate mileage for qualifying locations.
