Overview
We are seeking 2 dedicated and passionate Aftercare Preschool Teachers to join our early childhood education team. The ideal candidates will have a strong background in childhood development, classroom management, and curriculum development, with experience working with children in various educational settings. This role offers an opportunity to positively influence young learners’ growth and learning through engaging activities, personalized instruction, and nurturing support. The position requires a commitment to fostering a safe, inclusive, and stimulating environment for preschool-aged children. This position will be between the hours of 2:00-6:00. Duties
- Manage classroom activities to ensure a structured yet flexible learning environment that encourages exploration and creativity.
- Provide individualized support for children with special needs or early intervention requirements, utilizing expertise in special education and behavior management.
- Engage children in educational activities that support childhood development milestones, including language acquisition, motor skills, and cognitive growth.
- Ensure safety protocols are followed at all times, including child welfare practices and classroom safety standards.
- Support classroom management strategies that foster positive behavior and respectful interactions among children.
Qualifications
- Prior experience working with preschool children in daycare, private school, or early childhood education settings.
- Knowledge of childhood development principles, classroom management techniques, and behavior management strategies.
- Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with colleagues and engage parents or guardians.

Pay: $14.50 - $15.50 per hour
