Afternoon 2 year old teacher

We are seeking a caring, energetic, and dependable teacher to join our team in the two-year-old classroom during the afternoon hours. The ideal candidate will create a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment that supports children’s social, emotional, physical, and cognitive development.
Responsibilities:
- Supervise and ensure the safety and well-being of children at all times.
- Engage children in age-appropriate activities that encourage learning and development.
- Assist with daily routines including snack, toileting, transitions, and dismissal.
- Help maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming classroom environment.
- Communicate positively and professionally with children, parents, and staff.
- Work collaboratively with the lead teacher and other team members.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience working with young children preferred.
- Ability to be dependable, patient, and flexible.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Must meet state licensing requirements for childcare staff.
Schedule:
Part-time, weekday afternoons. Specific hours to be discussed during the interview.
