Afternoon Art Teacher

Christian school seeks a positive, mature minded art instructor two afternoons a week. Art class is from 2 to 3:30 on Wednesdays and from 2:30 -3:30 on Tuesdays and Thursdays at our light filled location in Kalaheo Hillside located between the the front and back gates of KMCB. Art is the happy class after the academics and everyone loves it! Art class can be arts and crafts activities or teaching serious skills. There are currently 5 to 7 students between 9 and 12 years old and there is additional adult support as needed. Extended hours and additional days of work may be possible. Qualifications: Applicants should love to share art activities with children and have some experience doing so. This is a great job for students, military spouses, retirees, homeschoolers - anyone who loves art!

**Duties:**

- Lead students in art activities utilizing a variety of teaching methods to ensure each student's unique learning style is accommodated.

- Develop and maintain a positive and respectful environment that fosters open communication and promotes student growth.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $17.00 - $19.00 per hour

Expected hours: 1.5 – 3 per week
