Job Summary
We are seeking an energetic and dedicated Afternoon Floater/Closer to join our vibrant childcare team! Duties

• Supervise and engage children in age-appropriate activities that promote learning, creativity, and social interaction
• Ensure the safety and well-being of children at all times by adhering to safety protocols and emergency procedures
• Assist with snack time, meal preparation, and clean-up to promote healthy eating habits
• Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming environment conducive to childhood development
• Communicate effectively with parents or guardians regarding children's daily activities and any concerns
• Support classroom routines, including nap times, diapering or toileting assistance, and behavioral management
• Collaborate with team members to plan activities that foster growth in areas such as language, motor skills, and emotional regulation

Skills

• Strong knowledge of childhood development principles and age-specific needs
• Experience working with children in settings such as daycare, preschool, babysitting, or nannying roles
• Ability to manage behavior effectively using positive reinforcement techniques
• First aid certification and knowledge of emergency response procedures
• Compassionate caregiving skills with a focus on infants, toddlers, and preschoolers
• Excellent communication skills for engaging with children, parents, and team members
• Classroom experience or early childhood education background is highly desirable
