Afternoon Part-Time Infant Teacher (2pm-6:30pm)

Responsibilities

• Provide attentive care to infants, ensuring their safety, comfort, and well-being throughout the afternoon hours
• Implement age-appropriate activities that promote physical, cognitive, and emotional development based on childhood development principles
• Maintain a clean, organized classroom environment that encourages exploration and learning
• Monitor and document each child's progress, behaviors, and needs to support individualized care plans
• Communicate effectively with parents or guardians regarding daily updates and developmental milestones
• Manage classroom routines such as diapering, feeding, nap times, and playtime with patience and consistency
• Support children with special needs or disabilities by adapting activities and environment to meet their unique requirements

Qualifications

• Prior experience working with infants or toddlers in a daycare or preschool setting is highly preferred
• Knowledge of early childhood education practices and childhood development stages
• Certification in first aid and CPR is required; additional training in special education or working with individuals with disabilities is a plus
• Demonstrated ability to manage classroom behavior positively and effectively
• Strong caregiving skills with a nurturing attitude towards young children
• Excellent communication skills for collaborating with parents and team members
• Ability to follow safety protocols diligently and respond promptly to emergencies
