Responsibilities

• Develop and implement comprehensive curriculum plans tailored to preschool-aged children, incorporating literacy education, math, physical education, and Montessori methods when appropriate.
• Create a warm, safe, and stimulating classroom environment that encourages exploration, creativity, and social interaction.
• Manage classroom behavior effectively through positive reinforcement strategies and behavior management techniques.
• Engage children in age-appropriate activities that foster childhood development milestones and support special education needs or early intervention strategies.
• Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and specialists to support each child's unique learning journey and welfare.
• Conduct assessments using standardized testing tools to monitor progress and tailor instruction accordingly.
• Incorporate lesson planning that aligns with early childhood education standards and promotes active learning experiences.

Experience

• Prior classroom experience working with preschool children in daycare, private school, or early childhood education settings.
• Demonstrated knowledge of curriculum development, lesson planning, and classroom management techniques suitable for young learners.
• Experience working with children requiring special education or early intervention services is highly valued.
• Familiarity with teaching physical education, literacy education, math concepts, and Montessori methods enhances your effectiveness in this role.
• Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with families, colleagues, and specialists dedicated to child welfare.
• Knowledge of childhood development principles and best practices in toddler care and preschool environments.
