Responsibilities

• Develop and implement age-appropriate curricula that meet the developmental needs of preschool children.
• Manage classroom activities, ensuring a safe and supportive environment for all students.
• Educate children in foundational literacy and math concepts through interactive lessons and hands-on activities.
• Foster social, emotional, and cognitive development through play-based learning experiences.
• Assess student progress through standardized testing and informal evaluations to tailor instruction effectively.
• Communicate regularly with parents about their child's progress and classroom activities.
• Collaborate with other educators to create a cohesive learning experience across the preschool program.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization within the classroom to promote an optimal learning environment.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or related field preferred.
• Experience in daycare or preschool settings is highly desirable.
• Strong skills in curriculum development and classroom management.
• Familiarity with literacy education practices and early childhood development principles.
• Ability to create engaging lesson plans that incorporate math concepts into daily activities.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively interact with children, parents, and colleagues.
• Patience, creativity, and enthusiasm for working with young children.
