Afternoon Spanish-speaking Nanny in Los Feliz

Looking for a Spanish-speaking nanny on Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday afternoons in Los Feliz. June 29th - July 30th. Can continue through the school year if it’s a good fit. $35/hr. El mismo anuncio, a continuación, en español.

Our ideal candidate is energetic, creative, curious, and educated. English is optional; we speak Spanish at home. No nanny experience needed, but she must be a good driver. Our minivan is available for the nanny to use.

We have a 10 year-old boy, 7 year-old girl, and 4 year old twin girls but one of the older kids will away at camp each week. Nanny will have a maximum of 3 kids at a time, sometimes fewer.

The kids moved from bilingual to English-only school this year, so one role of our nanny is to support their use of Spanish, including reading and writing.

Schedule: Mondays and Thursdays 12:00-6:00 PM (can start later if nanny not available at 12:00), Wednesdays 2:00-6:00

• Pick up the girls from camp.
• Give the kids lunch or a snack and the twins will usually nap 1-2 hours. During the nap, the older child will work on Spanish reading/writing.
• Afternoon activity: play outside, do an art project, go to a museum, a playground, or the swimming pool.
• I get home between 4:30 and 5:30. I leave dinner in the refrigerator ready to reheat if the kids are hungry before I get home.

We are trying to raise kids who are responsible, creative, and kind. They have daily chores including unloading the dishwasher, cleaning up after meals, putting away their clothes, and keeping their toys and art materials organized. Our nannies help teach them to be good citizens of our home.

Location: Los Feliz. Our home is 1 mile north of Children’s Hospital LA and the Vermont/Sunset stop of the Metro Red Line.

Tenemos un niño de 10 años, una niña de 7 y unas mellizas de 4 años; uno de los hijos mayores estará fuera en un campamento cada semana. La niñera estará a carga de un máximo de 3 niños a la vez, y a veces menos.

• Darles el almuerzo. Por lo general, las niñas pequeñas duermen la siesta entre 1 y 2 horas. Durante la siesta, el niño mayor practicará lectura y escritura en español.

Intentamos criar niños responsables, creativos y amables. Tienen tareas diarias que incluyen vaciar el lavavajillas, recoger después de las comidas, guardar su ropa y mantener sus juguetes y materiales de arte ordenados. Nuestras niñeras ayudan a enseñarles a ser buenos miembros de nuestro hogar.

Pay: $35.00 per hour
