Duties

• Provide attentive care and supervision to infants, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times
• Develop and implement age-appropriate activities that promote physical, emotional, and cognitive growth
• Maintain accurate records of each child's daily routines, milestones, and developmental progress
• Foster positive behavior management strategies to encourage social skills and emotional regulation
• Collaborate with team members to create a cohesive classroom environment that supports individual needs
• Communicate effectively with parents about their child's day, progress, and any concerns
• Ensure the classroom is clean, organized, and stocked with necessary supplies in compliance with health and safety standards

Skills

• Proven experience working with infants in a daycare or preschool setting, including classroom management skills
• Knowledge of childhood development principles and best practices in early childhood education
• Certification in first aid and CPR to ensure quick response in emergencies
• Experience working with children with special needs or disabilities is highly desirable
• Strong caregiving abilities combined with patience, compassion, and positive reinforcement techniques
• Ability to manage behavior effectively while creating a warm, welcoming environment
• Excellent communication skills for interacting with children, parents, and team members
