Responsibilities

• Supervise children during afterschool hours, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times
• Assist with homework, reading, and educational activities to promote learning and development
• Prepare healthy snacks and meals following dietary guidelines and parental instructions
• Engage children in age-appropriate play, arts and crafts, outdoor activities, and creative exercises
• Support children with special needs or disabilities by providing tailored care and assistance
• Maintain a clean, organized environment by tidying up toys, play areas, and dining spaces
• Communicate regularly with parents or guardians about their child's day, progress, and any concerns

Experience

• Prior experience working with children in settings such as babysitting, daycare, or teaching roles is highly preferred
• Knowledge of first aid procedures and CPR certification is a strong plus
• Experience caring for infants, toddlers, or children with special needs enhances your suitability for this role
• Demonstrated ability to handle caregiving responsibilities with patience, enthusiasm, and professionalism
• Familiarity with child development principles and age-specific activities ensures engaging care for all children involved
