Duties

  • Plan and implement age-appropriate educational activities that promote learning, creativity, and social skills
  • Manage classroom behavior effectively through positive reinforcement and behavior management techniques
  • Supervise children during playtime, homework assistance, snack time, and structured activities to ensure safety at all times
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming environment conducive to learning and play
  • Communicate regularly with parents or guardians about children’s progress, behavior, and any concerns
  • Incorporate elements of early childhood education strategies to support diverse learning needs
  • Follow safety protocols to ensure children’s well-being
  • Collaborate with other staff members to develop program plans that align with developmental best practices and curriculum standards

Skills

  • Strong classroom management skills to foster a positive learning environment
  • Experience working with children in daycare, camp, tutoring, or childcare settings
  • Knowledge of childhood development principles and early childhood education techniques
  • Ability to handle behavioral challenges with patience and professionalism
  • Excellent communication skills for engaging with children, parents, and team members
  • Passion for working with students of all backgrounds in a nurturing setting
  • Ability to lead sports coaching or theater activities to promote physical activity and creativity

Pay: $22.00 - $24.00 per hour
