Afterschool Teacher (Part-Time) - ABA/Theapy/Special Education Experience

Location: Charming Farmhouse Setting – Leesburg, VA
Hours: Monday–Friday, 2:00–6:00 PM

We are looking for a warm, energetic, and experienced Afterschool Teacher to provide individualized afterschool support in a beautiful farmhouse environment in Leesburg, Virginia. Here, learning happens indoors, outdoors, and everywhere in between—with plenty of fresh air, open space, and opportunities for creative, hands-on enrichment.

What You’ll Do

• Provide personalized academic and functional skill support to a school-age child with special needs
• Create engaging, structured afterschool activities that build confidence and independence
• Use evidence-based strategies tailored to the student’s IEP goals
• Foster a calm, encouraging environment where the child feels safe and motivated
• Incorporate movement, sensory breaks, and outdoor learning in a scenic farm setting
• Communicate regularly with parents to celebrate progress and align on goals

What We’re Looking For

• Experience in Special Education, Therapy Fields, ABA preferred
• Background working with neurodivergent or learning-differentiated students
• A nurturing, patient, and creative teaching style
• Ability to develop fun, meaningful activities for afterschool hours
• Reliable transportation to rural Leesburg; comfort working in a home/farm environment

Schedule & Pay

• Hours: 2:00 PM–6:00 PM, Monday through Friday
• Start: As soon as the right candidate is found
• Compensation: Competitive and commensurate with experience
