As a Security Officer, you will play a critical role in protecting our guests, associates, visitors, and property while delivering outstanding customer service. Your presence, professionalism, and quick decision-making will help ensure a safe and enjoyable resort experience for everyone.
This is a full-time position working 2nd Shift: 3:00 PM – 11:00 PM

As a Security Officer, you will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment throughout the resort. This includes conducting patrols, responding to incidents, monitoring surveillance systems, investigating concerns, and working closely with resort leadership to promote safety, security, and loss prevention.

Patrol resort grounds, guest areas, parking lots, and facilities to maintain a visible security presence

Monitor surveillance systems and investigate suspicious activity

Respond promptly and professionally to guest, associate, and emergency situations

Complete detailed incident, accident, and investigation reports

Assist with emergency response procedures, including fire, medical, weather, and security-related incidents

Support loss prevention efforts through key control, asset protection, and security procedures

Investigate incidents involving theft, property damage, accidents, injuries, and policy violations

Partner with department leaders to promote a safe and secure environment for guests and associates
-
Assist with monitoring and securing resort facilities during special events and peak occupancy periods

Maintain knowledge of resort emergency procedures and safety protocols

Ensure compliance with all company policies, safety regulations, and applicable laws

Provide exceptional customer service while interacting with guests and team members

Previous security, law enforcement, military, hospitality security, or related experience preferred
-
Resort, hotel, or customer-facing security experience is a plus
-
Strong observation, surveillance, and problem-solving abilities

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Ability to remain calm and professional in high-pressure situations

Strong interpersonal skills and ability to interact with diverse groups of people

Knowledge of safety, emergency response, and loss prevention practices

First Aid and CPR/BLS certification preferred

Ability to stand, walk, patrol, and work both indoors and outdoors for extended periods

Flexible availability, including weekends and holidays

Valid driver's license required

Security officer certification or licensing, if required by state or local regulations, is preferred
