Position Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused Insurance Agency Claims Representative to join our team. In this role, you will serve as the primary point of contact for clients during the claims process, ensuring timely handling, accurate documentation, and a smooth customer experience from start to finish.
Key Responsibilities:
- Receive, review, and process insurance claims in a timely and efficient manner
- Serve as a liaison between clients, insurance carriers, adjusters, and other relevant parties
- Communicate with clients to gather information and provide updates on claim status
- Verify coverage details and ensure claims are handled according to policy terms
- Maintain accurate and organized claim records in internal systems
- Assist clients with questions, concerns, and claim-related documentation
- Follow up on outstanding claims to ensure resolution
- Provide exceptional customer service during often sensitive or stressful situations
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in insurance, claims handling, or customer service preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities
- Attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency with computer systems
Preferred Qualifications:
- Knowledge of insurance policies, terminology, and claims procedures
- Experience working with agency management systems
- Strong time management skills in a fast-paced environment
